5 more days until graduation!

I've been meaning to update this for a super long time and I just haven't done it. I have two classes today, Etiquette and Self Defense. I need to get lunch before Etiquette but that's gotta be before 11, bleh. I finished the Concert Choir photo board on Friday, now I'm only waiting on two pictures from Laura and the photos of Habs, Strand and Flar. I think it looks really good, I'm excited for everyone to see it and the people who have seen it so far think it looks nice. I feel so disconnected from the school now. Even though I was at school on Thursday and Friday cause of my brother, I stiil haven't seen anyone since wednesday. Weird. I'm so happy that I don't have to take the spanish final. They have to do vocab, listening, and essay today and apparently that's not even half of it, the rest is tomorrow. I would have failed, that's for sure. Shadowing was awesome. Like, So Incredibly Awesome. I'm even more sure now that I want to be a nurse. On Thursday I was with the babies in the Nursery Unit. I got to watch a circumcision (soo glad that I wasn't a boy!) and help with a hearing test and blood tests. It was such a great experience. I have to send out my thank you cards too, must remember to do that.

I read that whole story that you linked me to, Ruth. It was interesting. Very funny. It was like a whole 'nother alternate Potter universe though. The author clearly sympathizes with the Slytherans but I really enjoyed how she kind of brought the 4 houses together. Of course, the Slytherans and Snape in the story are very different than the Slytherans and Snape in the books. In her story, Snape is like the "parent" of these children and lol, it's very funny, but when they misbehave, he canes them. 6 times. it's funny though. I didn't really like how she portrayed Dumbledore though. and the Gryffindors. I mean, I could see her point in some cases but it also seemed like she went to the extreme of getting us to sympathize with the Slytherans. In all the harry potter stories that I've read, no one can get Dumbledore right. Which is fine, ya know, since they aren't the ones who have created him but still, in some cases it seems like they don't even try.

I can't wait for this summer but I'm really going to miss the school year too. Does that make sense? I don't want to lose the friendships that I've made. I feel like I've really gotten them cemented now and I don't want to lose that. It makes me sad.

I got my roll of film developed that I finished off at the end of classes two weeks ago. They go all the way back to the senior prank and a lot of them turned out really nicely. There's a really good one of all of us at the senior retreat. I'll have to show you guys when you come to school. ugh. I have an hour and 15 minutes to do nothing but eat lunch. Can't wait to see all of you!
